  • DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

    Hanoi is the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the country's second largest city by population. This thousand-year-old city is considered one of the main cultural centres of Vietnam, where most Vietnamese dynasties have left their imprint. Even though some relics have not survived through wars and time, the city still has many interesting cultural and historic monuments for visitors and residents alike.. The city hosts more cultural sites than any other city in Vietnam. On arrival at Noi Bai airport, your family will be met and welcomed by your tour guide and driver. Transferred to the downtown for hotel check-in. The rest of the day, you are free to stroll around the Old Quarter yourself to get used to the City or just relax to recover from the jetlag. Overnight in Hanoi.

    DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR

    The city tour of the capital city occupies your whole day. In the morning, the sites include Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s first university.
    Lunch is served at a nice restaurant in town. In the afternoon, the tour continues with a visit to one of the following museums, you can pick the one you like (the Ethnology Museum, Army Museum, National Fine Arts Museum, Hanoi Hilton prison or Vietnam Women Museum). Followed by a short walk or a cyclo ride in the Old Quarter. End the day tour with a traditional Water Puppet show. Your family will spend the second night in Hanoi.

    DAY 3: FLY TO HUE & SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF HUE

    Take a morning flight to Hue, the former Imperial Capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take an excursion to the Imperial Citadel. The spectacular Citadel (which was built in accordance to strict principles of geomancy) houses a series of palaces, ornate halls, libraries, residences and colleges. In the afternoon, visit the poetic tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the Thien Mu Pagoda. Enjoy a gentle cruise on the Perfume River for the way back to the city. Overnight in Hue

    DAY 4: HUE – HOI AN

    After the breakfast in Hue, drive southwards and along the coast to Hoi An with a stop en route at the photogenic village of Lang Co and Hai Van Pass.
    Upon arrival in Hoi An, you will set out on a walking tour to explore this charming World Heritage Site. Highlights include an ancient merchant house, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the vibrant riverside market. Take a peaceful boat trip on the Thu Bon River.
    After that, enjoy your free time to do some shopping or further explore the ancient town yourself in the evening. Overnight in Hoi An.

    DAY 5: FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY

    Depart for Da Nang to catch a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City in the morning. Upon arrival, transfer to the city to start visitting some featured sites of Saigon. The places of interest include War Remnants Museum, The Re-unification Palace, the Norte Dam Cathedral, The Old Post Office. Evening is yours to relax or taste the traditional foods of Saigon (on your own account). Overnight in Saigon.

    DAY 6: MEKONG DELTA VISIT

    You will have a full day to visit the lush Mekong Delta today. After 2.5-hour transfer by car, you will arrive at Phong Nam, Ben Tre. Get on your private motorized boat and will cruise along the Chet Say river (a branch of the Mekong). You will stop off at various local workplaces  such as coconut candy, brick-making workshop, straw mat... You also have time to ride a motor cart that takes you through several green lush fruit gardens. Lunch today is served at a peaceful garden restaurant. Ride a sampan boat along a narrow canal edged by rows of water coconut trees before getting back on your tomorized boat for the dock. Drive back to Saigon. Refresh yourself upon arrive at the hotel. After a short rest, take the evening tour at the back of local Vespa riders. Moving around to taste variety of local food for your dinner. This is the best way to experience Vietnam’s traditional dishes. Overnight in Saigon.

    DAY 7: DEPARTURE FROM HO CHI MINH CITY

    Depend on your departure flight itinerary, you will be transferred to the airport for the onward flight. In case of the afternoon departure, you will be escorted for half-a-day tour to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels which is located about 70km from the downtown. Learn abit about Vietnam War through the underground tunnel network... After lunch, get transferred to Tan Son Nhat airport for your flight. End of service.

    SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITION
    Booking & Payment 
    Bookings must be secured by a deposit of a minimum of 30% of the total booking value, or US$100 for bookings of a value US$500 or below. This deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel your tour. Full payment must be made at least 30 days prior to the first day of your trip. (Please note that increased deposit requirements may be applied for some trips).
    Except as otherwise agreed by your direct travel specialist of Custom Vietnam Travel, the final payment or the balance is due earlier than 30 days prior to your departure.(Failure to pay by the due date may result in unexpected cancellation of the booking.)
    Payment may be made by cash through Western Union, telegraphic/electronic transfer or credit card such as Visa, Master card. (Except for the cash payment, any levied charges for the telegraphic/electronic transfer or any applied surcharges for credit card banking (3.0%) should be covered by the clients.)
    Following full payment, final voucher of services and related documents will be forwarded by e-mail to clients at a maximum of two weeks prior to your home departure. 
     
    Cancellations
    Cancellation will be charged as follows: 
    More than 30 days prior to departure: We will retain the deposit
    29 - 14 days prior to departure: 50% of the Tour price is forfeited
    13 - 0 days prior to departure: 100% of the Tour price is forfeited
    (Note: Any of bank charge for the payment process is on the client's account)
     
    Refund of Unused Services 
    No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced.
     
    Liability 
    Custom Vietnam Travel Co., Ltd. is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be borne by the passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance.
    Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, Custom Vietnam Travel Co., Ltd will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved. 
    Travel Insurance 
    Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger's responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling. Please contact your insurance carrier for details.
    Custom Vietnam Travel Co., Ltd. strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour: the loss of deposits through cancellation, loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death. A waiver must be signed if insurance is declined.

    Please be aware that flight times, hotels and all other logistics, services and days of travel are subject to availability. Where flights are cancelled or delayed Custom Vietnam Travel will endeavor to secure alternative arrangements of similar value as noted in our booking conditions.
