Custom Asia Travel Ltd. was founded in 2009 by Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuong, also known as Smiley, and has since become a leading tour operator in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. With over 20 years of experience in the tourism industry, Smiley began his career as a local tour guide and professional tour leader for international companies in Vietnam.

Smiley's experience traveling throughout the country with people of different nationalities made him realize the importance of flexibility and attention to detail in meeting clients' travel expectations. This led him to create Custom Vietnam Travel, a brand known for high-quality and personalized tours. In 2019, the company expanded to cover more destinations and rebranded as Custom Asia Travel.

Today, Custom Asia Travel offers incoming travel services for leisure groups, business travelers, and independent travelers. Their specialty is private customized tours that take travelers to less-visited destinations, where they can experience authentic cultures, local life, and stunning landscapes. The company provides a wide range of itineraries, including classic tour packages, adventure tours, family holidays, and custom tours throughout Southeast Asia.
