Upon arrival in Luang Prabang Airport, get picked up and transferred to your hotel downtown for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours relax or stroll around to make the acquaintance with the city.

Breakfast at the hotel, meet your tour guide and driver again and set out for the whole day to explore Luang Prabang and its surroundings.
This morning, you will tour the ancient town of Luang Prabang. The first place is Phousi Hill where you will take a hike up to its summit for admiring the panoramic view over the city. Followed by Wat Mai, a beautiful Buddhist temple and might be the most richly decorated of the temples in Luang Prabang. After that, you will move on to the Royal Palace Museum. The next stop is the magnificent temple of Wat Xiengthong. With its classical Laotian style, it is the oldest one in the city.
Lunch is served at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, take a long-tailed boat for a 2-hour upstream ride on Mekong River to visit Pak Ou Caves. The caves are located in sheer limestone cliffs, these include two large caves and both of them repositories for thousands of Buddha images. Along the boat ride, you will enjoy peaceful countryside scenery with villages and gardens on the banks. Before ending the day, make a stop at Ban Xanghai village to witness how Lao’s traditional rice wine distilled. You may want to try a sip and feel.
The evening is on your own discovery.

Wat-Xieng-Thong Pak-Ou-Caves-Luang-Prabang

Having breakfast at your hotel and get ready for another day out.
Get picked up and drive to the Living Land Farm. This is a working community farm. Here, you are able to experience real farming life like a farmer, from selecting seeds to sowing, plowing, transplanting, harvesting, threshing, and cooking. Have a hearty local meal with organic ingredients on the farm.
The afternoon, transfer to the Kuang Si Waterfall. The waterfall has 3 tiers leading to a 50-meter drop into shallow pools, before flowing downstream. You can swim in the topaz pool of the waterfall, (please remember to bring your swim gear with you for this activity). From here, you also can walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary. On the way back to Luang Prabang, take a short visit to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, set serenely close to the Mekong, this beautiful, traditionally styled workshop, where weavers, spinners and batik makers produce top-quality fabrics, offers free tours every half-hour. This is also one of the best spots to admire the sunset in Luang Prabang.

Become-a-farmer Kuang-Si-Waterfall

After breakfast, check-out and get ready for the morning journey to Xieng Khouang. The drive is through the wonderful natural scenery with mountains and hill tribe villages. You might want to make some stops on the way for photo opportunities and visiting hill tribe villages. Upon arrival in Xieng Khouang, move on to visit the Site 1 of Plain of Jars, which is claimed to be created 1,500 years ago and of profound importance. Late in the afternoon, check-in your hotel and stay for the night.

After breakfast, set out with your guide to experience the local lifestyle in the Central Market. Then visit the UXO MAG Exhibition Room and Site 2 of Plain of Jars. On the way to Site 3 for scenic trekking, pay a visit to the villages of Tai Dam people and Lao Leum people.
After lunch, embark on a trip to the old capital of Muang Khoun and the nearby villages, which is home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people.
Drive back to the hotel and relax for the remainder of the day.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and start visiting the major sights of the capital, including Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image.
En route to Lao’s national precious heritage That Luang Stupa, you will have a chance to take pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, well known as Vientiane’s Arc de Triumph. Stay in Vientiane for the night.

Wat-Sisaket That-Luang-Stupa-buddism

Take the early morning flight to Pakse, a city in southern Laos. Upon arrival, head for Saravanh province via Tateng Village. You will make a stopover en route to observe the locals making tea and coffee - have a cup of either before exploring the cultures and the daily life along the way to Boloven Plateau Area.
Arrive at Tad Lo Waterfall, pay a visit to the villages of Alak, Nge, Katu ethnic minority group. Late in the afternoon, return to the town for hotel check-in and stay for the night.

In the morning, get transferred to the pre-Angkorian Ruins of Wat Phu, which gives a great taste of Khmer temples. Then continue your way to 4000 Islands Region and Khong Island, a laidback, sleepy, charming little gem of a place nestled at the foot of Laos on the Cambodian border, and as the name suggests, consists of lots of tiny islands scattered in the vast Mekong Delta. Check-in the hotel and the remainder of the day is yours.

After breakfast, set out and start the day with a sightseeing tour of the surrounding countryside. After that, return to the mainland at Ban Nakasang before driving further south to visit Khone Falls.
Later in the afternoon, transfer back to Pakse, check-in your hotel to end the day.
