DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam!
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you are welcomed and greeted by the Custom Asia Travel tour guide and taken to your hotel by private transfer. The remainder of the day is relaxing or be on your own discovery.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR

This day tour to learn about the capital city of Vietnam occupies your whole day with featured sites, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s first university for the morning.
Your lunch today is served at a restaurant in town with local tastes.
In the afternoon, the tour continues with a visit to one of the following museums (you can pick the one you like): the Ethnology Museum, Army Museum, National Fine Arts Museum, Hanoi Hilton prison or Vietnam Women Museum). Followed by a short walk or a cyclo ride in the Old Quarter.
End the day tour with a traditional Water Puppet show. Spend your second night in Hanoi.
DAY 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner
Accommodation: Overnight on boat
Halong Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands. Designated a World Heritage site in 1994, the bay is a "must-see" place for any visitor to Vietnam, especially an overnight trip on a traditional wooden junk.
Take the morning transfer to Halong Bay pier.
Around noon - Board your boat and start the cruising itinerary with lunch and dinner aboard.
Some interesting activities are available to include kayaking, swimming, sunbathing on the sun deck.
Overnight at an en-suite cabin on the boat.
DAY 4: HALONG BAY - FLY TO HOI AN
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Hoi An
This morning get up early this morning for some fresh air on the open deck and join the Tai-chi class for some gentle moves if you wish. Otherwise, you are able to remain in your cabin until breakfast time. After breakfast, the crew will pull up the anchor, start the engine again for more cruising to other parts of the bay. After visiting a big limestone cave, the boat is gently heading back to the pier. The early lunch (Brunch) will be served aboard. Around noon, you are ferried in and take the afternoon drive to the airport for your evening flight to Danang City in the center of Vietnam. Get picked up on arrival and transferred to the hotel in Hoi An city for the night.
DAY 5: HOI AN HALF-DAY TOUR

- Hoi An is a city on Vietnam’s central coast known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, cut through with canals. The former port city’s melting-pot history is reflected in its architecture, a mix of eras and styles from wooden Chinese shophouses and temples to colorful French colonial buildings. This is also known as the silk paradise with a lot of tailor-made shops for clothes and shoes. The town is about 7 km from Cua Dai Beach.
In the morning: Embark on a walking tour to visit feature sites of Hoi An Old Quarter: Hoi An wet market; Japanese Covered Bridge; Phuoc Kien, a Chinese Assembly; Tan Ky ancient house; Watch the art of handicraft making at a Hoi An workshop.
In the afternoon: Just take it easy and relax at your hotel or do shopping in town while discovering the rest of Hoi An on your own.
DAY 6: HOI AN FREE DAY
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel in Hoi An
Today is yours to discover the charms of Hoi An yourself or just relaxing at your resort and sunbathe on the beach. Optional biking tour or excursion to My Son Holy land is available on your request.
Spend the second night in Hoi An.
DAY 7: HOI AN - FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Accommodation: Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City
Breakfast at the hotel as usual.
This morning it is easy for you to relax on the beach or doing some shopping in the Old Quarter.
Check out your hotel by noon.
In the afternoon, transfer to Da Nang airport for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Get picked up on arrival and rest for the remainder of the day.
DAY 8: TOUR OF SAIGON & CU CHI TUNNELS
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City
Today you will spend the whole day visiting the featured sites of Saigon and the famous underground tunnel network in Cu Chi.
In the morning, 8:00 start with a 1.5-hour drive to Cu Chi tunnels. Get an overview of Cu Chi by watching a documentary. Your guide walks you around to witness the traps, bunkers, trenches, and experience crawling a piece of the underground tunnels.
Drive back to the city for a set menu lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, the city tour of Saigon consists of visits to the featured sites such as the War Remnants Museum; The former Presidential Palace; The Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Old Post Office.
End the day with a stroll through Ben Thanh Market.
DAY 9: HO CHI MINH CITY - MEKONG DELTA

- The ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam, Mekong Delta is carpeted in a dizzying variety of greens. It's a water world that moves to the rhythms of the mighty Mekong, where boats, houses, and markets float upon the innumerable rivers, canals, and streams that criss-cross the landscape like arteries.
Depart for Mekong Delta at 8:00 a.m. The drive takes nearly 2.5 hours. Arrive at Ben Tre, embark on a motorized boat trip along the scenic Ben Tre River, viewing various local industries along the way. Have some stops to visit local workshops: making bricks by the kilns; Making coconut candy; Sleeping straw mats. Take a motor cart passing fruit and vegetable fields. Ride a short sampan boat on a small creek of water coconut trees. Lunch at a garden restaurant. In the afternoon, drive to Can Tho City which is considered as the capital of the Delta. Check-in your hotel. The evening is on your own discovery or just relaxing.
DAY 10: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - CHAU DOC

After breakfast and check out, your private tour guide will pick you up and take you on a boat trip to the Cai Rang floating market, situated close to the city’s main jetty. This wholesale market is filled with small boats darting through the water as vendors sell their wares and take time to explore the market and practice your bartering. Leaving the market, you will return to the docks to get off the boat. Then stroll through a village visiting the rice paper mill and the rice noodle making factory. If you are interested, you can also take a bike ride through the villages to enjoy the beautiful rural scenery. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you will continue towards Chau Doc. After checking in to your hotel, the rest of the day will be yours to explore at your leisure.

DAY 11: CHAU DOC - SPEED BOAT TO PHNOM PENH
Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Accommodation: Hotel in Phnom Penh
Morning (pick up at 7:30 am) After an early breakfast and check out, a member of the staff from the speed boat company will pick you up and take you to the docks for a 5-hour boat ride crossing the border into Cambodia as you travel to the next country in Indochina. The speed boat crew will assist you with the Cambodia entry visa process at the border (this usually takes about 30minutes).
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
After lunch, your private tour guide will take you on a tour of Phnom Penh. Visits: – National Museum of Khmer Art, featuring sculptures from different periods of Cambodian history – Royal Palace, built in 1866 by King Norodom – Silver Pagoda, named for its floor made of 5,000 silver tiles – The Russian Market. This sweltering bazaar is the one market all visitors should come to at least once during a trip to Phnom Penh. The rest of the day will be yours to explore at your leisure.
Important!
For the Cambodian Visa on Arrival, please make sure you have 1 passport sized 3 cm x 4 cm photo and $30 for the stamping fee. You will be driven to Phnom Penh, arriving around noon, where your private tour guide will pick you up and take you to your hotel to check in (travel time approximately 20 minutes)
DAY 12: PHNOM PENH - KILLING FIELDS VISIT - DRIVE TO SIEM REAP

This morning, you will have the opportunity to learn about the painful history of Phnom Penh, through visits to the infamous Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes and Cheung Ek, better known as the ‘Killing Fields’. It is an incredibly moving experience, but these are two visits you will be glad to have made. During your visit to Cambodia, you will barely meet a single person who didn’t lose a member of their family during these years, yet they are all willing to talk openly about it with you. They wish you to hear about it and see these places, to ensure that it never happens again
Spend the whole afternoon driving to Siem Reap. The drive takes about 6 hours. On arrival, check-in your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day.
DAY 13: ANGKOR WAT DISCOVERY

In the morning, visit to jungle Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location to film the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Begin tour to the antique capital of Angkor Thom, start from the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, explore Angkor Wat, the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Last but not least, view a wonderful sunset from Angkor Wat or somewhere possible. Tonight enjoy buffet dinner with Khmer Traditional Dance Show at a nice restaurant.
DAY 14: SIEM REAP FREE DAY

Accommodation: Hotel in Siem Reap
This day is free for you to pursue your interests. Perhaps hit the markets for some delicious street food, and indulge in a traditional Khmer massage, or get one final insight into the heart of Cambodia with a cooking class, or just relax at your hotel and enjoy the swimming pool.
DAY 15: SIEM REAP - BANGKOK
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Hotel in Bangkok
Free until getting picked up and transfer to Siem Reap International airport for a flight to Bangkok, Thailand. Guide and driver pick you up at the airport on arrival. Check-in your hotel in Bangkok.
The remainder of the day is yours to rest.
DAY 16: HIGHLIGHTS OF BANGKOK

Today, take the whole day to explore Bangkok – the city of golden temples.
The must-see places include famous Wat Po, the Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). You will also ride a boat along the Chao Phraya River, watching the local daily life goes by. On route, stop at Wat Arun, the most beautiful pagoda in Bangkok.
In the afternoon, continue on the tour with Wat Traimit. This pagoda is famous for its unique and historic beauty, and also for the huge golden Buddha statue.
Return to the hotel and you are free to explore Bangkok by night.
DAY 17: DAY TOUR TO AYUTTHAYA

Your breakfast today is served at the hotel as usual. Get ready and set out for a day tour to visit some sites of Ayutthaya Historical Park. Being a ruin with many temples which characterize the handicraft architecture, the park was recognized as World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Wat Phu Khao Thong - a massive pagoda towering in the middle of paddy fields. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet was the most important temple of Ayutthaya; Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit - the pagoda has one of the biggest Buddha statues in Thailand;
Wat Lokaya Sutha - considered a sacred place for pilgrims. Heading back to Bangkok. En route, visit the Royal Summer Palace in Bang Pa-in district. The remainder of the day is on your own discovery.
DAY 18: DEPARTURE FROM BANGKOK

Today is your last day in Thailand, depend on your flight itinerary you may have some leisure time to enjoy your last moments in Bangkok for doing some last shopping. Get picked up and transfer to the airport for the international flight home.
